THE MORE PERFECT TABERNACLE

Hebrews 9:1-28

INTRODUCTION

The earthly tabernacle with its ordinances was a type, or a foreshadow, of the tabernacle in heaven. The earthly sacrifices were recurring – but not so with the heavenly. Christ -The Lamb of God was “once offered.” There were many different types of offerings in the earthly tabernacle. There is only one sacrifice needed in the tabernacle in heaven – the offering of the Lamb of God Who took away the sins of the world.

I. THE EARTHLY TABERNACLE IS EXAMINED     vs. 1-10

CONCLUSION

The blessed hope of the child of God is the return of the Saviour. He came once to die for our sins – He now intercedes for His own – He is coming again to receive His own to Himself.
